“In version 1.2.8b of the experiment we are finally able to maintain the signals of the auditory dimension as an open channel. Oddly enough, the majority of energy dense information seems to reside in sonologically silent sections of the dimension. Due to the ephemeral and non-temporal nature of this reality, parsing the signal seems to cloud it with adjacent past and future noise originating from our dimension. Further isolation and investigation necessary.”
Auditory Pocket Dimension (APD) is an interactive sound installations that complements the low-volume performance by inaudible. The sound isolated cube produces harsh noise when viewing it from the outside, but dissipates into a quiet soundscape as soon as it is entered. The soundscape is constructed of sounds that leaked into the auditory dimension, usually fragments and motives from the performance close to where it is being exhibited.
